Come join the Snoqualmie Tribe’s Habitat Restoration Team as we continue restoring riparian forest habitat on the main stem of the Snoqualmie River in Fall City on February 28th from 10am to 1pm. We will be removing overgrown elk protection and noxious weeds, as well as planting native wildflowers and ferns, continuing to build resilience and diversity in a restoration site many years in the making!
Volunteers have assisted with many projects at this site since 2018, and we’re excited to bring you back to the young forest that has grown here since!
Join us to learn about the ecology of the area, how this work connects us to salmon, and see how our work in this important salmon spawning reach is developing!
