Meet Rev. John Rutsindintwarane
We have an opportunity to hear from an extraordinary pastor, community organizer, visionary, and faith leader. Pastor John Rutsindintwarane will be at Sammamish Hills Lutheran Church on Friday, September 12 at 6:00. There will also be a Zoom option for those who cannot attend in person.
While Pastor John is currently based in Rwanda, he is well known by Pastors Mark, Nyla and Larry Thomas. (Pastor Mark and John went to seminary together). They are all thrilled that we have the chance to learn from him in our own backyard. We are hoping to hear about his strategies and methods for community-based organizing. He will share with us effective ways that we, as brothers and sisters in Christ, can identify some of the unique needs in our Eastside community and how we can join together to help to address those needs. We believe his work and insight will be helpful to move us forward in our collaboration efforts.
