  congregation in our conference.\nOn November 22nd we invite you to ask y
 our congregation to wear flannel to worship and take a group photo at the 
 end with all who donned their flannel.\n\nWhy? Why not! This is just a sil
 ly\, fun thing to do \n\nSecond\, we also invite your congregations to bri
 ng a can of soup or chili on Nov. 22nd with the plan to donate these cans
  to a local food bank of your choice. \n\nIf you choose to accept this in
 vitation and challenge - I would love for you to send your group photos to
  me: pastor@mtsilutheran.org. And let me know how many cans you collected.
  \nI'll share all the photos with everyone and the grand total of cans of
  soup collected. \n\nIf someone doesn't have flannel - you might consider
  asking your folks who love fabric to dig up some flannel to make little p
 ins or other small adornments\, so all are included. \n\nWe hope you find
  this a fun opportunity to engage in some joy and service. And if the 22nd
  really doesn't work for you for any reason - feel free to do this on a d
 ifferent date. \n\n
